Update!
Let there be light! We have electricity again! Hooray! :) We were lucky and only lost it for a day. There are still thousands without power throughout the state. The end of this ice storm is in sight. The temperatures are climbing. Hooray for 33 degrees! It rained all day today which helped because the temperature was above freezing, so the rain helped to melt the ice. Thursday should be clear, but there is a possibility of a snow storm this weekend. Oklahoma has been officially declared a disaster zone. There are fallen trees and power lines everywhere. Many people say that it looks like a tornado came through. President Bush declared a state of emergency. Electric crews from 5 other states have come to OK to help restore power. They have been working 24/7. Please pray for OK. It's not over yet. As for Jason and I, God is taking huge care of us! We have enjoyed taking pictures and I have put them together on a web album. I will continue to add more as the weather changes.
