Today I took Jack to the vet because he has been vomiting. I came to find out that what the doctor originally thought was a foreign object in his stomach was actually an enlarged bladder. Jack has a urinary tract infection that has completely plugged him up. We are lucky we caught it because if untreated this problem can lead to kidney failure. Jack is being hospitalized for the next three days. The doctors will carefully monitor him while they are working on clearing up his infection. I am very hopeful that in three days I will have a healthy, much happier Jack. Until then, I will miss his company.
