This weekend, Jason, Maddie and I surprised my parents by driving down for a visit. We called ahead of time and they were ready for us when we got there with a yummy dinner Friday night (complete with my mom's caramel brownies) and a fun day planned out for us at the park on Saturday. Maddie LOVED the park. I think she loved every part of it: swings, playground and duck pond. She was worn out! Maddie got a lot of wonderful grandpa and grandma time, which I know both she and my parents loved. We ended the weekend with a great church service and a yummy lunch before heading home. All in all, it was a great visit!
I think the tunnel was Maddie's favorite part.
